Legal Assistant

Location: On-Site | 4900 Daggett Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110

Job Summary: The Mass Tort Legal Assistant is an integral part of the Paralegal/Attorney team and will assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks that are crucial in getting the client the best result possible. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order police/incident/supplemental reports
• Prepare and fax Letters of Representation and initial client correspondence
• Heavy data entry
• Update and maintain case information within our case management system
• Coordinate and schedule depositions
• Submit invoices for payment
• Handle various correspondence
• Investigation using Westlaw, Rejis, MSHP, etc.
• Prepare subpoena packets
• Assist in trial prep / discovery packets
• Assist with filing documents electronically with the court system
• Follow up calls to clients and providers as needed
• Coordinate and schedule recorded statements
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous personal injury experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
