Flynn Group, operating over 2,900 franchise units in 7 iconic brands (Applebee’s, Taco Bell, Panera, Arby’s, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, and Planet Fitness) seeks a Legal Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse, dynamic, and growing in-house legal department.
This position is based in our San Francisco, CA Support Center, with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week (Friday).
Position Summary
Conveniently located in the heart of the Financial District, Flynn Group’s San Francisco Support Center is home to the company’s Legal Department, which directly handles Flynn’s own business, real estate, tort, and employment litigation and arbitration matters. Collaborating closely with Flynn’s in-house attorneys and Litigation Paralegals, the Legal Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the litigation and legal operations of the department as detailed below.
The successful candidate will have a positive, proactive attitude that enables you to work independently, use good judgment, and escalate issues as needed. You must be a team player for whom no task is too big or too small, and who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are required, and you must demonstrate a willingness and interest to learn and develop. The good faith estimated range of pay for the above position for California-based candidates is $50,000-$70,000 depending on factors including but not limited to experience and skill. There is a target discretionary incentive bonus of 10%.
