The Sr. Manager of HRIS will oversee the design and deployment of various HR systems at the Firm. You will work closely with Firm leadership to provide strategic direction for all HR data management. The Sr. Manager of HRIS will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources and work closely with various departments, including Finance, Payroll, IT and other functional areas to analyze, recommend and execute system services.
On any given day, you will:
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts and system renewals
- Develop and adhere to the HRIS function budget
- Oversee the design, development and deployment of various HR systems at the firm
- Develop integrated approaches for HR data management, reporting and serves as the primary liaison between HR subject matter experts, Finance, Payroll, IT and other functional areas as needed to define, analyze, recommend and execute system services
- Partner with the IT team to effectively manage HR systems and the data flow between firm systems
- Lead the planning and development of system upgrades, including the scheduling of key activities and communication of system downtime or updates to the appropriate individuals
- Ensure the integrity of the data within the HR systems by establishing quality controls and audits of system data
- Develop and maintains awareness of HR data security and complies with policies and procedures
- Provide guidance as the technical expert on technology projects and dealing with complex issues that need resolution or escalation
- Manage the operations of the HRIS team
- Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to team members
You have:
- A bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 10 years’ of working with relevant HR systems such as Workday, iCIMS, and viGlobal, with previous experience with HR system design and implementation. Previous experience managing a team or individuals.
- Strong knowledge and experience with enterprise-wide HR Systems (HRIS); including Workday, Kronos, iCIMS, and viGlobal
- Strong technical and analytical skills, advanced knowledge in Excel and overall experience with MS Office
- A high level of attention to detail in working with employee record entry and mass amounts of data
- Demonstrated sense of urgency; proactive; flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize own workload in a fast-paced environment; ability to work well under pressure
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify problems and provide solutions
