SYNOPSIS
The Supervisory Paralegal/Intake Coordinator leads, trains, and manages a team of paralegals and intake staff, overseeing workload distribution and work quality in client interaction, litigation, and administrative support for the firm’s attorneys. They ensure adherence to legal procedures and deadlines, manage complex projects, and act as a liaison between staff, attorneys, and other stakeholders. In addition, they may be asked to work independently as needed to assist in the paralegal or intake functions.
KEY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
REQUIREMENTS
Required: A combination of relevant education, experience and training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years’ experience as a paralegal and/or Legal assistant. Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills are required.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays worked from our DC office (11 DuPont Circle NW, Suite 600). On Mondays and Fridays, you may work either in the office or remotely, at your election. Please note that hybrid work arrangements for all employees are in accordance with business needs and at the discretion of senior partners.
