What You'll Do
As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys to move cases efficiently through litigation while delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from filing through trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, disclosures, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Prepare shell pleadings and assist attorneys with legal research.
- Coordinate court filings in state and federal courts.
- Calendar litigation deadlines, hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial dates.
- Track statutes of limitation and other critical deadlines.
- Organize case files and maintain accurate documentation within our case management system.
- Coordinate with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit organization, witness files, and courtroom logistics.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience (plaintiff personal injury preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of Arizona court rules, litigation procedures, e-filing, and docket management.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with technology, including Filevine or a comparable case management system.
