We are in need of a Legal Assistant with Probate experience. Paralegals are encouraged to apply.
Job Summary
Immediate opening for a legal assistant with probate experience. You will communicate with clients, manage estate planning and estate administrations and prepare documents including trust administration and probate documents and Wills, Trusts, Advance directives. The ideal candidate must be hardworking and detail-oriented.
We will consider candidates looking for full or part-time work.
Compensation for this role is $25-$28/hour.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients
- Prepare case-specific documents, including Petitions for administration and Trust administration documents, letters of instruction and emails and letters to clients and beneficiaries
- Ensure that file is well organized and follow timeline for administration
- E-file court documents
- Maintain and update documentation
- Provide general administrative support
- Onsite role located in Seminole, FL 33772
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant in probate is required.
- Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with document management experience
- Excellent research skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and case management software including Prevail case management
- Ability to multitask and attention to details
- Full-time or part-time available
