We are seeking a dedicated Legal Recruiter & Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us identify, attract, and onboard exceptional attorneys and legal professionals as we continue to expand.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for attorneys and legal staff across office locations in three states, partnering with shareholders and management to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and legal and general job boards to identify, engage, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial candidate interviews, and assess attorney candidates’ credentials, including bar admission, practice area expertise, case experience, and state-specific licensing compliance.
• Maintain current knowledge of legal terminology, practice areas, and industry hiring standards.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews using Outlook Calendar and Calendly, and communicate with candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience.
• Prepare candidates for interviews with hiring managers and gather and share interview feedback with stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate the offer process, including compensation discussions, negotiation, and offer letter preparation.
• Track and report recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill and pipeline activity, and maintain accurate candidate records in applicant tracking systems.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines across legal practice areas to support future hiring needs.
• Facilitate onboarding for new hires firmwide, including preparing, distributing, and collecting employment agreements, tax forms, and compliance documentation, scheduling orientations and first-day logistics, and serving as the primary point of contact for new employees.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Recruit CRM, Calendly, and LinkedIn Recruiter for reporting, documentation, candidate management, scheduling, and communication, and coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed.
• Promote employer branding initiatives, build relationships with law schools, legal associations, and professional networks, and stay informed on market trends in legal recruiting.
• Assist with workforce planning and hiring forecasts, provide additional Human Resources project support as needed, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive candidate and firm information at all times.
This role requires a minimum of three years of recruiting experience in a legal setting, along with demonstrated experience conducting C-suite or attorney level candidate searches. The ideal candidate will also possess the following attributes:

• Exceptional discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential candidate and firm information
• Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in verifying credentials, licensing, and compliance documentation
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple searches, stakeholders, and office locations simultaneously
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to track, interpret, and report on recruiting metrics to inform strategy
• Adaptable and resourceful, comfortable operating across multiple platforms, practice areas, and geographic markets
• Genuine interest in the legal industry, with a commitment to staying current on legal recruiting trends and standards
