Your Role: Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage attorney calendars, including court appearances, hearings, deadlines, meetings, and appointments.
- Calculate and calendar litigation deadlines in accordance with applicable court rules, local rules, and scheduling orders.
- Monitor upcoming deadlines and proactively remind attorneys and staff of time-sensitive matters.
- Prepare, review, and electronically file legal documents through state and federal e-filing systems.
- Ensure filings comply with court formatting requirements, filing procedures, and deadlines.
- Serve and distribute filed documents to clients, opposing counsel, and other parties as required.
- Retrieve filed documents, notices, and court orders from electronic filing systems and distribute them promptly.
- Maintain accurate docket and case management records within the firm's case management software.
- Track filing confirmations, rejected filings, and required corrections to ensure timely resubmission.
- Coordinate with attorneys and support staff to obtain finalized documents for filing before deadlines.
- Monitor court notifications, electronic service, and docket updates for assigned matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to firm policies and legal ethics requirements.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of civil litigation experience preferred
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Experience with state filing systems (e.g., One Touch and One Legal).
- Knowledge of court rules and calendaring deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Full-time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
