Job Description

As a Security Guard Law Firm Full Time Front Desk Visitor in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support a professional environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve as a reliable point of contact for occupants and guests while helping to address security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.40 - $19.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide professional, customer-focused service at the front desk of a commercial real estate office location, greeting visitors and responding to inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Monitor access to the premises by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining accurate guest records, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Follow site-specific procedures for employee, visitor, vendor, and delivery access while helping to maintain an orderly reception area.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Perform administrative and security-related front-desk duties, including answering phones, monitoring cameras and access-control systems, documenting activity, and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
